Magnetic Boat Cushion Snaps
As seen in video: That is not edited, turn the volume on and you can hear the hands free NuSnap securing the cushion!
Up to 17lbs pull force per snap!!! Can be installed on any vertical or horizontal surface.
Left side of cooler is utilizing the "Surface Mount NuSnap" to secure the cushion.
Right side of the cooler is Utilizing the "Recessed Flush Mount NuSnap" to secure the cushion.
NuSnaps are designed to snap and unsnap to your cushion. When its time for new cushions or your going to reupholster, simply unsnap and re-snap to your new cushions. These snaps are meant to last the lifetime of your boat so your only buying them once!
All cushions require ample amount of snaps to secure them to the deck. With all cushions being different, a rule of thumb guide is a 12"x18" seat cushion would require (4) one snap in each corner like the four configuration on dice. A 24"x48" seat cushion would require (6) one snap in each corner, one center front and one center back, like the six configuration on dice.

Flush Mount NuSnap
This Video shows the NuSnap flush mount system. This low-profile design sits flush with the surface in a 1-1/8th inch diameter, 5/16th inch depth counterbore. Unscrew the existing snap piece from the boat, then use the existing snap screw hole as a pilot hole, and drill the hole with a 1-1/8" Spade bit. Seal with 3M-5200 Replace the existing cushion snap with our patented NuSnap & no tools are required for the button connector.

Installation Tips:
Tip #1. If the fabric is thick, cut away access material and make the hole a little bigger than needed to get the snap through the fabric. On a flat surface, lay a piece of wood down and place the cushion with the mag-snap through the fabric button side up on top of the wood. With a rubber mallet give a soft whack to seat the button cap to the Mag-snap sandwiching the fabric in between. Video of this installation coming soon!
Tip#2. Do not install the NuSnap close to any sewing seams. This may seat the NuSnap crooked and cause issues. Button Cap must sit flush with the Mag-Snap.

Surface Mount NuSnap
This is the surface mount system. On the boat, unscrew the existing snap anchor and replace it with this screw in surface mount piece. Use stainless steel 82-degree #8 flat head screw to secure (screw must sit flush with NuSnap piece).
Replace the existing cushion snap with our patented NuSnap & no tools are required for the button connector. Simply feed the snap through the hole and snap the button cap on.

ADAPTER
The Flush Mount & the Surface Mount NuSnaps replace your existing DOT Snap. This adapter model attaches to your existing installed DOT snap and converts it to our Nusnap Magnetic Fastener. No Tools Required. Simply snap on the two NuSnap Adapter pieces to your existing DOT hardware. Please note, this model attaches to your existing cushion snap so your existing cushion snaps must be in good order.
On the demo video the left side of the cushion is utilizing the "Surface Mount NuSnap" & the right side of the cushion is utilizing the "Recessed Flush Mount" NuSnap.
